About the 2025 Scholarship

• Our goal is to identify and assist deserving college students in their educational activities who are pursuing a post-secondary degree at a college of their choice.  
• We wish to reward students and recognize their activities and accomplishments in academics, leadership, community service, athletics, and other extracurricular activities. 
• All majors are welcome to apply, however students who intend to pursue a career in an agricultural related field upon completion of their degree are preferred. 
• Students must have plans to attend a 2 or 4 year college in the United States within the next year. High school seniors are eligible to apply.  
• We will award the following scholarships: 
  • (1) $500 scholarship to a student who plans to pursue an associate’s degree
  • (1) $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • (1) $1,000 scholarship pursuing a graduate degree.
• Any student may apply but VSA members, children of members, or grandchildren of members will be given preference.
