By joining the Virginia Soybean Association, you are also signed up for a complementary annual membership into the American Soybean Association, which focuses on policy and advocates on behalf of soybean growers on soy-specific issues in Washington, D.C.
Checkoff dollars cannot be used for advocacy efforts, making your membership essential to supporting soy-specific issues. With fewer farmers farming every year, it’s never been more important to make sure that sound policies are in place to enhance the future of soybean farming.
Every membership dollar is utilized to advocate on behalf of Virginia’s soybean farmers regarding soy-specific issues in Richmond, Washington, D.C. and beyond, through partnerships with the American Soybean Association, along with the Virginia Agribusiness Council and Virginia Farm Bureau Federation.
