The United Soybean Board is the national organization responsible for directing Soy Checkoff investments in research, market development, and promotion on behalf of all U.S. soybean growers. As a State Checkoff Board, we play a key role in nominating farmer-leaders from our state to serve on this board — and we think you’d be an excellent candidate.
Here are a few things to know about serving on the United Soybean Board:
- Directors serve a three-year term and attend three board meetings per year, in addition to committee and work group discussions.
- Travel and expenses related to board service are covered.
- Training and onboarding support are provided to every new director.
- You’ll join a national network of farmer-leaders working to strengthen markets, invest in innovation, and shape the future of the soybean industry.
